Well it's not friday, and the recipe is more than Five ingredients...So i guess you could call this "more than five ingredients Saturday"
This recipe is asked for alot!!! I take it to Every picnic or party I go to. It's really good with Chili also!!
2 large sweet onions sliced (vidalia)
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1 box jiffy corn bread mix
1 cup cream corn
1/2 cup milk
1-2 cups shreadded cheddar cheese (more or less to your tastes, i use 2 cups)
Heat oven to 350. and grease a 9x13 pan.
In a large pan, sautee onions in butter until they are transulent and tender NOT BROWNED! Take off of heat and stir in sour cream, and salt, set aside.
in a medium mixing bowl, mix together jiffy mix, egg, corn and milk just until combined.
Pour the corn mix into the 9x13 pan and evenly spoon the onions and sourcream mixture on top. Top with the shredded cheese and bake at 350 for 30-35 mins.
